The expansion of the existing kitchen made it possible to create, through a careful design of custom-made furnishings made of birch plywood, a central block containing the service functions of the house (kitchen, sleeping area, wardrobe and closet), freeing up the limited space available of this small Milanese apartment. It acts as a filter that opens and closes the space: among the owner's needs there was also the possibility of organizing small temporary exhibitions for a selected audience.
